Dust Ceiling Fans With an Old Pillowcase
What you need: an old pillowcase · a sturdy step stool
- Turn the fan off and wait until it stops completely.
- From the step stool, slide the pillowcase over one blade all the way to the base.
- Press the fabric gently against the top of the blade and slowly pull it back toward you. The dust stays inside instead of raining down on the bed.
- Repeat on every blade, then shake the pillowcase out outdoors and toss it in the wash.
